ABC Broccoli! x Asahi Shimbun

ABC Broccoli! is an educational variety television show on the Kids Station television channel, aimed at teaching Japanese children English, through the TPR learning method.

Asahi Shimbun, Japan’s leading national daily newspaper, and their Elementary Newspaper division, teamed up with ABC Broccoli! to showcase their “Junior Asashi” newspaper.

As the only native English speaker on staff, I had a number of jobs and responsibilities. My responsibilities included script writing and editing, set design and prop coordination, translation, and direction.

I produced 3 different ABC Broccoli! x Asahi Shimbun commercials.
